2. Information We Collect
Account Information: When you register on HindiDub, we store your email address, username, display name, and avatar URL via Supabase Auth and synced to Neon PostgreSQL.
Usage & Activity: We record user watchlist items, reviews, comments, and submitted requests to provide customized features.
Privacy-Safe Analytics: We log basic page visits (path, referrer, coarse country code) to measure platform traffic without tracking personal browsing history across external websites.
3. Cookies & Local Storage
We use essential HTTP-only cookies managed by Supabase for authentication sessions. We do NOT use non-essential tracking cookies or persistent client-side localStorage/sessionStorage for personal identification.
4. Third-Party Services
We integrate with reputable third-party services:
- Supabase Auth: User authentication and identity verification.
- Cloudinary: Image hosting for admin uploads.
- Jikan (MyAnimeList) / AniList APIs: Public metadata, posters, and banners.
